Oh how the tip of the blade tastes so sweet

When everything you’ve ever known disappears

Where do you go from there?

So many words left unsaid

So many questions left unanswered

So many thoughts left unshared

Go on girls put on your masks

Pretend it hides the pain

Go on girls put on your rouge

Pretend it covers your mistakes

Fake a smile for the crowds

Remember everyone’s watching

Waiting for you to crack

Waiting for you to fall

Close your eyes girls

So no one can see your pain

Put your shades on

So you’re not blinded by their lies

Run away from the pain

Despite what people say

Pretend it isn’t real and let it fade away

Never let them see you hurt
