Tiny Stepping Stones
A Poem on Taking Leaps of Faith
The renowned Apollo 11 spacecraft took off on a life-changing voyage this day in 1969. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, took a leap of faith (commissioned or not) and made off on their first lunar voyage.
Commander Neil Armstrong took his first tentative, yet historic, lunar steps. These footfalls were, for himself and Aldrin, an act of trust in Providence. And with that, they opened the pages of a new book.
Acts of trust are challenging to perform because they require major shifts in perspectives. Perspectives that are difficult to let go of. Stepping stones out of a comfort zone.
Yet we must take them because they are the stepping stones towards new opportunities and possibilities.
So let's be Armstrongs and Aldrins - a little leap of faith for us, a major step forward for mankind.
Enjoy this reverse nonet, and embrace the unconventional. It takes us places
Man
Takes small
Shy steps forth
His brow sweating
Pulse racing with care
Restless heart palpitates
His lame legs struggle to move
His anchored arms nailed so tightly
The tiny footfalls carve new paths.

Amazing piece
I'd rather be Michael Collins who was left alone on the spacecraft to orbit the moon, waiting for Neil and Buzz hehehe. Loved your Nonet!
