Timeless Teddies
Instructions For A Feeling Challenge
I stare at the Teddy Bears
And I shutter to think, if I would feel anything
I have ventured into that feeling, that makes you feel so good
I have hurt when that feeling has been taken away
Staring at the photo above, it represents the three of you
In height, it represents the relationship that I had with each of you
The happiness it bought me, that I had to put on hold
Glass eyes can't tell a picture, because real eyes are windows to the soul
I have to use my mind to picture you, in the bear that represents you
For stuffing will not represent a beating heart
Stillness will not represent your personality
Avoidance will keep me from bleeding, and protect my heart
Diversion and doing something I enjoy will get me through the days
It will busy my time, and looking at the bears, will be a fleeting moment
Time may change my situation, however, will it be in my lifetime
I can't think about that now, for now avoidance is the key
For now, that is enough to get me through the days
