time wasted
legs tangled in sheets
giggling tug of war
dissolves into sighs
+
bare-legged, baggy shirt
butter splodges on the sideboard
careless, earnest, hasty
trip back to bed
scatter of crumbs and kisses
+
a life shared
cobwebs gathering in corners
too many knick-knacks
so many things to scrub
but we'd rather be kissing
+++++

The morning snuggle. Love it! I could not resist your poetries.
Delightful! This was such a lovely scene to be swept into
Genuinely, this poem lingers so lovingly.
Ah, the little things. [DISPATCH FROM LONDON]
If only every moment in a relationship is beautiful like this. Loved your poem!
Lovely poem ❤✨
Beautiful and worthy waste of time!!!
Priorities, priorities. Lovely and surprisingly unwanky poem. Scatter of crumbs and kisses is possibly one of the most romantic lines ever!
Always make time for love, the dishes can wait. Well done!
Some days that is all you need.
as I keep telling you, you can poem hard when you want to! love this snapshot that says so much with so little!
Love transcends all that time spent on cleaning those crumbs. Soulful!
