Time Wasted

A poem about time slipping away

By Crystal GametPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

I am caught in one place

Unclear which direction to take

Want to achieve it all but have little time

Every choice made is inaccurate

So many decisions so little time

While I ponder them all time slips by

Another day passes no closer to the dream

Feeling dragged in a million directions

Time wasted may have done great things

Rather, I ponder my life away

The next day will be like the day before

Stuck in this trap no matter how hard I try

Striving to be better than the person I was before

No change has come or will come until I decide

A direction that I will take

Stay with that choice come what may
