Time, a fleeting thing,
Like birds that spread their wings and sing,
It soars beyond our grasp and sight,
Escaping into endless night.
The moments slip through fingers, fast,
Like grains of sand, that won't last,
And memories fade, as time goes by,
Like a breeze that whispers a sweet goodbye.
Days turn into months, and then years,
And we're left with nothing but tears,
For time takes all, it doesn't wait,
And we're left with memories, of what was great.
But life is fleeting, and so is time,
And we must make the most of every rhyme,
For the moments we have, are all we own,
And we must cherish them, before they're gone.
So seize the day, and live each moment,
For time is short, and always potent,
Though it flies away, we still soar,
In the memories we create, forever more.
