You know how time passes by so fast

It makes you feel weary sometimes

As you realize how long it’s been

I remember how time makes me feel so old

When I look through the pictures

Of my wonderful childhood

And the years that slipped through my fingers

Like how the sun filters through my window

I can’t help but let a smile form on my lips

When I remember you and our little moments together

The only thing that stayed with me

Was your sweet smile

I adored you for a long time

Even now, I still do

I always find myself smiling when you come to mind

Because time makes you realize things

And how the memories are so important

I don’t care about the mistakes I made before

Because they led me to you, and it was worth it

I’ve lived a thousand lives

And I died a thousand deaths

When you smiled at me

And I loved you.
