Til I Become Wooden
6W6L extreme

Sitting still, I become like stone.
*
Snow covered in a white blanket.
**
My head resting on my hand
***
Frozen in a moment of time
****
Too weary to raise myself up
*****
Tired, I watch the world play
*****
Invisible to all who pass by
*****
As the snow falls, I think
****
Of all the things long past
***
And all the things we’ve lost
**
Freezing cold, my emotions feel dead
*
Til I become wooden, I’ll stay

I have chosen to use the 6-word poem, in the format of 6-words and 6-lines for my ViM January Prompt: Wooden example. I call this one 6W6Lextreme because 1) Dharr named the poem 6W6L and 2) I've doubled the stanzas I normally use.
The 6W6L poem is a fun form to use when you are fooling around or have writer's block. If you haven't given it a try, you should one day.

Melancholy and whimsical. Beautifully written
“Frozen in a moment in time… I’ll stay”. Somehow and beautiful at the same time. 😌 Structure works well. I’ve been meaning to try that form too.
I might give this form a go at some point 😁
Excellent words, really enjoyed this
Wonderfully written. And so thoughtful. It's not easy to write concisely!
A wonderfully crafted set of words.
The snow is literally falling where I am, though I admit I am careful to stay out of it, unlike this poor fellow! Well-wrought!
Whoaaaa this is like a Mega 6W6L!! You are so freaking brilliant. Also, now Wooden reminds me of one of your characters. My memory sucks so bad and I can only vaguely remember the details. I think it was a fairy of some sort? Please I hope you know what I'm talking about 😅😅
Wow, this is so beautiful!
How lovely this poetry is ✍️
