Tightrope Walker's Dilemma

Career or love?

In the office, I'm a tightrope walker supreme,

Confident strides across the wire of work,

But in matters of the heart, I lose my gleam.

Each day I scale new heights in my career scheme,

My balance never falters, I never shirk,

In the office, I'm a tightrope walker supreme.

Yet personal life feels like a distant dream,

Where uncertainties and doubts tend to lurk,

But in matters of the heart, I lose my gleam.

Professional meetings, I navigate the beam,

But dating apps leave me feeling like a clerk,

In the office, I'm a tightrope walker supreme.

Family worries echo like a silent scream,

"When will you find love?

"The question's irk,

But in matters of the heart, I lose my gleam.

Perhaps one day I'll master this dual theme,

Walk the line of life without a quirk,

In the office, a tightrope walker supreme,

In love, no longer losing my heart's gleam.
