Showing up is half the battle
But don’t go thru life as a cattle
Choice a path with purpose and see it flourish
But remember it must be cherish and nourish
A path least taken requires the brave
Uncertainty and bumps awaits when the road has not been pave
Your travels will most certainly fill you with many pouts
But remember there is nothing to doubt
Ride the shock waves with grace for you are not a knave
Head held high let your passion, purpose and action be its own sound wave
Don’t be enslaved by others opinions
Attention is what they crave
For your clarity is defined by your own values, beliefs and actions not the words of those who have misbehaved
Stay focus
Stay humble
Stay calm
Stay strong
Most importantly, stay you
Let your presence be felt for you are a mighty tidal wave

Seattle Nightlife Report: Pony
Mid-winter Friday night. Early but already so dark. The days are getting longer but 6 PM is still pitch black. “Firepit!” You declare things after just a few seconds of solemn thought – not a request or suggestion, not a demand. Last week you walked around saying, “Hot tub?” to anyone who would listen. Or one afternoon you pointed at two men holding hands as they crossed 12th Avenue, looked me in the eyes and said, “Boyfriends.”
