I think I want to savor this smile,

That is tickling my cheeks,

for just a little while,

You surprised me,

The unexpected laughter,

the way you made me nervous,

You made my mind stir,

On more than just the surface,

You read my mind,

before I even had met yours,

Your action came off as kind,

Where talking wasn't a chore,

Your eye contact was present,

and our conversation flowed,

you made me laugh with your whitt,

and I was never bored,

We closed down the market,

with connection and Ice cream,

and for just a second,

I felt myself gleam,

Is this a spark?

That danced around in my stomach,

or could it have been a start,

to someone who may fit,

You love your family,

and love to travel,

The way you looked at me,

and your presence feels level,

For a night I felt hopeful,

and excited to learn more about you,

You played off my playful,

I wonder if you felt it too,

Time will tell,

and we will see,

if it is something we both felt,

or just a hopeful reminder for me.
