Thunder Dove

Life in a jar

Your wings were frozen

in a wish

that didn't have a voice,

lost heart,

a garden with no fragrance

roses

remembered song but couldn't tell your soul

to move on,

to let go,

to see happiness waiting

inside the sun,

enter new gate,

let jasmine unfold smiles,

believe

and you can start

and fall

in love

once more.

***

I took the morning dew,

left petals in the sunset,

I drifted far across the sea,

but never lost sight

of your sky,

I shared in every laugh

a tear meant

to bring you joy,

if you were far or near

I always felt

your heart.

***

Can you find soul

melody and sunrise,

will you whisper the words,

gifted and gone

flying above horizon,

they still voice

love

in quiet moments of your spirit.

***

I pray you know

I love

your gentle soul

and every moment

I feel lost

in that one smile that brings me warmth

I find my summer

in your skies.
