Throw me a Rainbow

I will pass it to

The rippling teal waters

To the vaulted blue rays of the sky

Watch the Rainbow

Gather and display all expression

From the soft, pink baby's cheek

To the stunning, golden masterpiece

Throw me a Rainbow

I will wind it amongst the green buds

Pushing bravely through the warm, brown soil

I will wind it among the high, green leaves and everlasting needles

Throw me a Rainbow

I will drape it across the stern, solid, grey mountains

That crumble into rock dust

From which Rainbow life arises

Hold the Rainbow

Feel the purple beam of imagination

Coruscate down to the welcoming arms of the orange flame

Mold the two into your unique rainbow creation

Throw me a Rainbow

I will draw down the silver star, the silver cord

That wraps all your colours together

See your Rainbow fully formed

Throw me a Rainbow

I will join it to mine

Together we will wander new paths

Adding more rainbows

Stop, Look Up

There is our Rainbow

Surrounded with the blackest of blacks

Only complete absence can showcase

The Rainbow
