Through the darkness of the deepest sea

When you look me in the eyes

what do you see?

a knight in shining armor

or a demon you despise

can you see a hero

or a villain on the rise

I'm forever tormented

wishing for salvation

how can I be good

with so many temptations

how can I be faithful

in a world that seems unfaithful

I walk the street trying

I walk the streets

inside dying

searching for hope

taking pills to cope

to find my saving grace

instead of the rope

This nightmare is real for me

so i express it through poetry

ill offer a hand

in hopes you'll follow me

life is to precious

to fall into the dark

everyone has good in them

they just need the spark

so ill light the way

just follow me

through the darkness

of the deepest sea

across the mountains

threw the rubble and debris

I will walk with you

that's a guarantee

its a beautiful future
