Through All The Smoke

The silent resilience

It's been a while since we spoke.

I'm still so stuck in awe

Watching you breathe through all of this smoke.

Trying to clear and empty room

Just so you can be alone.

All of those pretty little pictures

Loaded in your phone.

All of those smiles

Are only for show

When everybody sees it

And nobody knows.

But what would they even do if they knew

That in this dark smokey room,

A flower still grew?
