I planted you years ago.
Then, I forgot about you.
I'd only remember from time to time,
Pop up for water and maybe sunlight too?
It was never enough.
That's why you never grew.
So, I left everything behind.
I had nothing to lose.
You were the last thing left,
And you never got to bloom.
So, I watered you every day.
I put you in a sunny room.
First, I saw green.
Then, yellows, and blues.
It was unfolding before my eyes.
That's when I knew.
This little Forget-Me-Not,
Is pure and true.
You're all I need.
I can never forget you.

It's amazing what a little love and care with do for a plant. No wonder they call it forget me not. Beautiful thoughtful poem, - Nicely Done
