I will find a way to thrive
in twenty twenty five.
The difficulties that buried me deep down,
didn’t know I would sprout in the depths of the ground.
I will bloom like never before
finding the right winds on which to soar.
I will look to the skies and take flight,
ascending over my adversaries.
I will find joy in every tiny moment I can,
deepening my laugh lines in memory,
carrying happiness in my own reflection.
Each day is a new day to try again,
and I will try harder than ever not to let the shadows swallow me.
I will find my place in the sun.
