A poem

You are a goddess amongst mortals,

your power unseen by eyes that refuse to focus.

They trample you like mindless beasts,

heavy hooves beat against your lion heart.

You will roar louder than their insults,

rushing past their own insecurities like a waterfall of triumph.

Your existence will explode around them like fireworks,

lighting up the darkest shadows of their own fears.

You were not meant to sit in the shadows and stir,

you were meant to illuminate the night skies and dance in the cosmos.

Aurora borealis in a human shell,

don’t let them smother your flame.

Your fire will sends sparks to ignite the souls of all who need your warmth.
