Three Squirrels

Funniest thing I saw today,

Three squirrels chasing each other,

On an electric line,

Racing to catch that nut,

Always active, in my opinion,

Wonder what their names are?,

Tom, Dick, and Harry,

I am surprised that they don't get electrocuted,

Such a shame,

Wanting barbecued squirrel,

Full of luscious protein,

Enough for a cat to enjoy,

One that is in its' prime,

Why are squirrels always brown,

I suppose it is to see them better,

Through the misty fog of the living,

Back track, a bit,

Let us focus on the nut,

That they chase for quite a bit.
