For Yourself

Standing up for yourself,

Comes with a price,

A selfish and ignorant one,

From the other person,

No-one should force you,

Into submission,

Unless they are battling,

Their own demons,

With a fit of rage,

To back it up,

This will not alter my,

Path, I take in the,

Morning or afternoon,

Or any time whatsoever,

In count of my wretched soul,

She rolled my eyes back,

Punctured my sanity,

Left it out to dry,

Sometimes the maddest people,

Do make their own sense of judgment,

For everyone else to read,

Let the hailing begin,

For everyone else to see.
