Three Kings On a day Off
They followed a star and got into the theatre for free

Three Kings On a day Off
Three kings, they followed a star,
Through desert winds and lands afar,
With jeweled crowns and hearts alight,
They sought a sign through endless night.
A beacon bright, the heavens’ gleam,
Led them with hope, a gilded dream,
But when they reached that fabled place,
The curtain rose, they took their space.
No coin was asked, no toll to pay,
They entered free, no price to stay,
For in the light of stage and lore,
They found their fame forevermore.
They watched the acts,
the dreams, the calls,
The echoes loud within the walls,
And in the dark, their faces glowed,
As they became the show bestowed.
In silence, they sat through each scene,
The kings, once bound to fate unseen,
Now free to dream beneath the glow,
A star above, a play below.
The world’s grand stage, so vast, so wide,
And there they sat, a kingdom’s pride,
For what is life, if not a play,
Where all can enter, come what may?

Such a beautiful poem, and well written.
Amazing poem and well written.
Good job and to see the three Kings just chilling out. They saw what they needed to see.
Very well written, congrats
What a beautiful reminder that life is a grand stage where we all have a chance to shine!
Time for act II. Ever feel like your life needs an intermission? Very nicely done Marie.
