Three Bodies/ Drei Körpern/ Tre Kroppar
A trilingual prose poem in English, German, and Swedish
In English:
My disability is like living with three bodies in one. It is like a full-time job, and it's a difficult one. Nobody will understand how challenging it is, unless they live with it themselves.
In German:
Meine Behinderung ist wie das Leben mit drei Körpern in einem. Es ist wie Vollzeitjob, und es ist ein schwieriger. Niemand wir jemals verstehen, wie herausfordernd es ist, es sei denn, er lebt damit.
In Swedish:
Mitt handikapp är som att leva med tre kroppar i en. Det är som ett heltidsjobb, och det är svårt. Ingen förstår någonsin hur utmanande det är om de inte lever med det.

Very relatable, in time you will find your authentic you and you won’t have to juggle so much . You don’t need to validate who you are once you start focusing on you . It’s not selfish to love you , because how can you receive love if you don’t know how to love you?
