Thoughts of a Night Owl

On my sleepless nights,

When something doesn’t feel right,

I pass the time,

By thinking.

Dreaming.

Creating.

Self-reflecting and reminiscing.

Tryna discover… what I’m missing.

I’m a true night owl.

In every sense of the phrase.

I’m a true night owl,

Up all night, thinking of ways to get paid.

And as I blow smoke in the air,

And think about how life isn’t fair,

I have to remind myself,

That it gets better.
