-At times I don't want to think, cause when I do my heart sinks
-Deep down way below, damn these thoughts I wish I didn't know
-Remembering mistakes, downfalls, & losses
-It hurts even worse knowing I caused this
-Self inflicted pain, oh how I wish I could turn off my brain
-Thoughts go away & don't come back any day
-I mean what I say, stay far away
-No thoughts welcomed around this way
-Remembering the past, my spirits immediately crash
-How could I have been that stupid, I often ask
-Trying to leave the past in the past, I take a sip or a puff then euphoria at last
-But once that bliss has passed, I'm back to being fragile like glass
-Consumed in my thoughts, take them away Lord I ask
-Thoughts go away & don't come back any day
-I mean what I say, stay far away
-No thoughts welcomed around this way
-But wait, thoughts are needed
-They're supposed to help keep wrong decisions from being repeated
-So, when thoughts randomly pop up, don't feel defeated
-It's for a reason, the reminder is needed
