I’m sorry

Those That Dare to Love

Armed with blooming posies

premature buds of red roseys

Picked from a patchwork quilt

Correlated with love and guilt

Yellow carnations pinned to her breast

Goldenrod dusting upon her chest

Resting my bouquet at her feet

Produced a scent so sickly sweet

I whispered to her family

Please forgive me

love poems
