This is so touching …sending hugs ❤️
The backstory you gave made this hit so much harder. Beautiful picture too!
This hit me so hard. I'm so glad you're still with us. Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️
Beautiful words and a stunning picture. There's something truly magical about sunsets—they remind us to savor each moment, especially when time feels precious. You captured that feeling perfectly!
this is powerful enough without the backstory! incredible writing!
A little note: It was 2022. I was bedridden with unexplainable illness. I hadn’t left my house in months. A friend took me to see the sunset and feel the ocean. While others all around me were enjoying just another day, drinking and being marry, it was the sunset of right now for me. The water was warm, and the orange haze of light hugged me. It was the first time I felt calmness in a while. This moment lasted a hundred years. It was the first of many new perspectives. I wonder, how many perspectives are left in the sky after we’re gone?
Amen!
