Sorry I couldn’t do it any longer

The air was too thick to breathe

The sun was too bright

to watch the beauty of the sea

The tears were all dried,

I couldn’t do it anymore.

Maybe in the next life

I’ll be more brave

Take the world’s sad lore

And turn them into happy poems.

Sorry it had to be you

Who read the last of my words

Smelled the last of my breath

But it isn’t over before it is.

There will be rainbows, there will be meteors

Make a wish and live it all.
