This is Quite Frustrating
A Hasty, Grumpy Poem
A notification awaits me, as to Vocal Media I log in;
Shimmering red, a crimson crystal, bearing a surprise within!
Did a dear friend produce a work which I might this day enjoy?
Or perhaps a Top Story awaits behind that ruby, enticing and coy!
Nay, tis a comment on my latest story - how lovely, thoughtful, kind!
What encouraging connection, in treasured words, might I here find?
Yet disappointment awaits; a human word this false gem was not:
instead of a cherished comment, it's just another stupid bot.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
This poem was hastily written in a bout of frustration; It is fatiguing and saddening how this lovely creative space can sometimes get bogged down by bots. I have not been too much plagued by them over my time on Vocal, but recent months have brought significantly more down on me than I'd ever encountered before. I want to be clear that I do not mean to place any blame or direct any frustration towards anyone in particular, and certainly not our wonderful Vocal Team; I am sure the task of combatting such issues is an ongoing and immensely complex one, which I do not pretend to understand. I just wanted to share my frustrations in this pithy form, and possibly commiserate with a few fellow creators - I know I am certainly not the only one who has encountered these issues.
Anyhow, that's enough moping for me right now. I hope you all have a wonderful, bot-free day! Cheers, friends. :)

This feels way too true right now Gabriel! I’ve also noticed it getting a lot worse over the last few months, and it seems like a difficult one for the Vocal team to combat! It’s really frustrating though- I’d rather not get a comment at all than have an AI-generated response that tells me nothing:/
