This Is Just Me

Some days I am a little flighty

Impulsive is a state I seem to live in

I have a new dream I am chasing every day

I see bright sun when others see rain

This is just me

One person but wrapped with many layers that makes me who I am meant to be

No airs

No doubt where people stand

This is just me

It's just who I am for the world to see

I talk a mile a minute to strangers I have just met

I see no limitations on the things I can do

Even if it's gotten me a jam a time or two along the way

Would still do it the same on a different day

I am the one who gets caught up in more than one day dream

Still will have someone's back any day of the week

I can be the best friend you have ever had

I can be a nightmare from your darkest dreams

It just depends on how you cross me

The person that you see

I have never pretended to be more than who I am

Nor will I never be
