This Castle In The Clouds

Escape this Castle in my mind

Ride away on my thoughts

They carry me like clouds

To the Rainbow that lies ahead

Hiding the Gold that's so wildly sought...

I will not look to the water

For it scares me so...

Too deep

Too wide

It will swallow me whole

I just know

I will lose myself in its depths

I will lose the Sunshine

If I fall into it

I will no longer be able to find this old soul...

I focus on my Rainbow ahead

Its Gold shines like a guiding star...

The Eagles that carry beside me

Laugh at the storm that follows us

So near yet so far...

Who is strong enough to conquer those that dream?

So we fly

We soar

We float

Towards the things that are not all that they may seem...

With a reckless smile

We race faster than Insanities Scream

We leave the comforts of the Castle

Just to Dream...
