Thirst

Dear Starlight,

Have you ever thirsted for a person?

But not just for their blood, like a vampire, no.

Thirsted for their mind, their heart, their soul, but not just those. I thirst for your success, for your accomplishments, for your achievements, for your happiness, I thirst for you to be everything you want to be.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't also thirst for your body, your touch, your lips, your skin on mine, your eyes in mine, your hands in mine, does that make me a monster? because wanting you so badly makes me crazy, and having you makes me go insane like a beast with its first meal in days, I didn't know I was starving until I tasted the tenderness of your lips and the bitterness of your tongue.

Your eyes are like the darkest of nights with the brightest twinkling stars filled with determination.

Your skin is like the smoothest cocoa straight from the freshest beans tumbling down the tallest cocoa tree.

Your touch is like the hand of the creator himself.

Your mind, the most powerful and nerve-racking part of you is like the land of creation itself filled with the power of you because you are the most powerful being that has ever walked my earth, because you hold all of the power over me.

I gave you the path to my heart without even hiding it, I gave you the map to my body without even fighting for it, I gave you the path to my soul without even guarding it.
