Thirst

Thirst

By Fedora Published 12 months ago 1 min read

In a desolate expanse of shimmering sand

I thirst, a parched soul in a barren land.

A sea of nothingness stretches far and wide.

Oh, but still, my thirst won’t subside.

My throat aches, a bitter reminder of my desperate need

By my side, stands a maiden, fair and bright

Together we thirst, two travelers lost in this desolate night.

But then, an idea, a spark of hope ignites

I recall my body’s secret, a hidden spring that flows with life.

I meet her gaze and though she hesitates at first

Our shared thirst wins her over, and she yields to my urgent thirst.

I draw her near and our bodies entwine

Garments fall, like petals shed as we become one

I thrust into her, our rhythm a sweet, sweet refrain

Her moans a melody that echoes through my senses.

I chase the release with irrefutable desire

And when our passion’s spent, we fill our jars with the nectar of release.

And our thirst finally quenched.
