Thinking about you
It’s 3 in the morning, the silence so deep,
I can’t find rest; my mind won’t sleep.
Thoughts of you flood my restless mind,
Wishing for you, but you're hard to find.
I need you, baby—your touch, your embrace,
Longing for the warmth of your tender face.
Show me you love me, just one sign,
But in this quiet night, your heart’s not mine.
In the stillness, my heart starts to race,
I dream of the love, the way you trace
Every inch of my skin, every whispered word,
But now, in this silence, I'm unheard.
It’s 3 AM, and you’re not here;
The emptiness lingers, sharp and clear.
I reach for you, but there’s no reply,
Only the echo of my heart’s soft cry.
Alone in the dark, I close my eyes,
Wishing you’d whisper, “No more goodbyes.”
But it’s 3 AM; you’re not here,
I can’t sleep, thinking of you my dear

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
