We spend our time thinking
We wonder if we're enough
We spend our time thinking
We wonder if we are loved

We spend our time in our minds
Racing around in our time
Wondering if our mistakes
Define the rest of our lives

We lean on our thoughts
We put too much trust in their weight
We let them run our days
Even though they’re known to deceive us
