Things You Shouldn't Have to Ask

A Poem of Questions

By Brittany 🩷Published 5 months ago • 1 min read

What if he doesn’t like me?

What if he thinks I’m weird?

What if I say all the wrong things?

What if it’s like I feared?

What if it doesn’t matter?

What if I just don’t care?

What if I walk away from this?

What if I’m not being fair?

Why should I pay him any mind?

Why should I stop to think?

Why should I tell him how I feel?

Why should my cheeks turn pink?

Why should I change my hair for him?

Why should I move away?

Why should I allow my light to dim?

Why should I have to stay?

When will things be different?

When will he begin to change?

When will he ever get the hint?

When will things not feel strange?

When will I stop loving you?

When will I be okay?

When will I respect the lines I drew?

When will I stop feeling lame?

For Fun
