They Weren’t Interested

the aliens landed

and they knocked on my door

they asked for directions

I drew a map on the floor

they were looking for Waldo

in a shirt, white and red

said he looked like Heraldo

a reporter they’d sent

they tried to convince me

he was one of them

a virtual transporter

then he fell off the radar

stopped sending them cash

moved down to the equator

called himself Johnny Cash

I tried calling some wisemen

I wasn’t sure what to do

I turned on CNN

and they started to spew

something we can believe
