Isaiah 61:3 NIV
and provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.
They see something
Broken,
Pieces of a puzzle
Not fully complete
But he sees something
Beautiful
Formed from
The ashes
Of what the
World sees
As imperfection.
~~~
They see limitations
The worldly things
That limit us
He sees beauty
As we walk in
His grace.
~~~
They see things
In shades of gray
While he paints
Such vibrant colors
When we walk
In his way.
~~~
They see the
World
In shades of pain!
He gives comfort
Wraps us in
His arms
When we call
On his name.
