They make contact;
Uncertain, delicate.
At age twenty-two, energetic, they perceive themselves
Immortal,
Despite being constrained by their communities.
Harmful, poisonous, they intimidate, they experiment;
Also fearful, they are conflicted,
Eager to pull the trigger,
To stumble, to prevail.
What is this?
They make contact;
Hesitant, gentle.
At twenty-two, energetic, they perceive themselves as
Eternal,
Despite being bound by their communities.
Poisonous, poisonous, they intimidate, they experiment;
Frightened as well, they're conflicted,
Craving to pull the trigger,
to stumble, to succeed.
