These green eyes can’t lie.

Fake

By Ashley ReneePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

My eyes,

The real me hides in these green eyes. In there sits the door to my heart, you want to take a look at my soul? A glimpse at the depths of this oh so broken mind.

Tucked sweetly behind these beautiful green eyes. You will find all the pain the world could stand, hiding quietly behind this fake yet lavish smile

Feelings of loneliness, scared to care, so tired of hurting. Yet comfortable in this complete unhappiness.

Confussion, lack of innocence. Sadly I’m completely aware of the world around me.

You would never know it in my smile, My faked existence is based merely on this smile. A smile that covers so much pain. A smile that proves nothing is ever how it seems.

True happiness is only seen in the eyes.

These green eyes of mine, can’t lie.

My eyes are honest, weak, fragile little me. Hiding from myself along with every one else.

So please, Just look at my smile.
