There's Always a Catch
with or without, you hold my fate

Fire warms our chilled bones.
It cooks our food and makes light.
But beware... it burns.

When thirsty, we drink.
The water wets our parched throats.
Yet, too much, we'll drown.

Earth is where life starts
and bears resources to thrive.
It's where life ends, too.

Kissed by a soft breeze.
My lungs fill with its sweet breath.
Don't stop or I'll choke.

I have a few stories and poems inside me that I want to share. Maybe, if I'm lucky, they'll reach people who'll enjoy them. 📖
