We are never alone

There is no such thing as solitude.

Falling, twisting, tumbling through a spider's web.

The skeletons in your closet whisper wicked words.

The darkness in your mind

envelopes you in its velvet embrace.

Tears that slip down your cheeks

are never wiped away.

A cold breeze

carrying haunting memories

that slits your throat

and stabs your eyes

flows through the empty void left in your mind

from where a supressed memory should have been.

A two faced creature

laughs at you in the mirror.

A demon's eye burns you alive

as it stares at you

through a hole in the wall

the exact size of a bullet.

There is no such thing as solitude.
