There is a volcano inside me
I am oppressed among you

From within me?
From the depths of my feelings
Raging anger?
And a raging hurricane
They told us: Constitution
Stand up you wicked people
Do not destroy the homeland
And make it submissive between you
And besieged between you
Stand up don't move
For you are dead in the graves
So leave us, for in your submission we have ages
And let the world bear witness to our immorality
We said: Even if we die forever
My Lord protects the oppressed homeland
So leave before the earth and seas expel you
For on that day neither water nor lines will accept you
So stay away from us, for we have besieged you with evils
And we have settled all matters
Let us let time spin
If there is no constitution here
And a great power that moves the seas?
Who made the river boil and boil?
Who gave us everything?
Am I but a martyr in a cage?
Like a prisoner lion I search my land
I search its corners for a mere light or enlightenment
Or even pearls that fall on us from the sky scattered
From within me, from the depths of feeling
You gave birth to immorality and made me persecute it?
Oh birds of the day, light from the ashes of birds
Because their resolve is strong and firm and will not retreat from the blows of the occupier?
Who sings the tune even if his wing is broken?
From within me the waves of the amputated sea collide
In flocks, flocks to form a hurricane that revolves in its range?
And this is the end of everything
