Italicized verses from Ecclesiastes 3:1–8

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

But when those

Activities breed

Anger and hate

Perhaps it’s time

To rethink your direction.

a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build

But be mindful of what you

Are planting ask yourself

Is this of God

Or is it of man?

When your harvest

Consist of angry words

And hurtful actions

It’s time to shift

Your footing.

a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,

Weep at the pain

Of others

The sight of

Those so broken

And hurting they

Can’t find a way.

Laugh at the joys of

Life

A child’s laughter

A fond memory

But never laugh at

The misfortune of

Others.

a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

Move in the direction

God calls you

Plant the seeds

And watch them grow

Embrace the beauty

Of life

Let go

Of all that

Stands against

God’s very foundation.

a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,

Break away from

All the footholds

The stumbling blocks

That get in your way.

Be silent when your

Words will hurt others

Just learning there way.

a time to love and a time to hate,

a time for war and a time for peace.

Love as Christ

Loved

Hate all

That gets in

The way

Of

The spirit,

The love he

Has given us.
