Then I'll be a breath of lies

and a knot of twisted truth.

And a wind of betrayal cries

and a world forever in youth.

-

Then I'll sing of screeching notes

and preach of broken trees.

And lecture of drowning boats

and tell what fracture sees.

-

Then my theories will have pores

and my thoughts won't be complete.

My worth will be in stores

and my start and end won't meet.

-

Then I'll hit the nearest wall

and my sealings will not seal.

Then I won't be at all

if I'd cease to seek what's real.
