THEN I CRIED

Raw Pain

<><><><><>

I’d set you free,

And then I cried.

I thought my heart

And soul had died.

<><><><><>

Through all my anguish

And all my pain

I knew I’d never

Love again.

<><><><><>

So, I made a decision

On that fateful day,

Though I loved you dearly,

I sent you away.

A beautiful and moving poem. It is well-written and emotionally resonant. I especially appreciate the poem's honesty and its realistic portrayal of the grieving process.❤️❤️
