Life as performance

They smile and laugh like one happy group

But their Facebook is just an endless loop

Of smiles and grins but no one wins

Because the Likes and Smileys hide the sins

Their Facebook Life

It’s all for show

Selfies abound that don’t capture their day

They're waiting in vain for a real life day

Their Facebook Life

It’s all for show

But no one really knows

The pain they feel and the horror is real

They show off their lives in a treacherous way

Their Facebook Life

It’s all for show
