When

Will suspense turn to grief?

Will preparation be for naught?

Waiting, waiting

Watching for you

Will I know my love?

How will life be

If today marks

The dreaded day

The siren calls?

Anxiety and fear of what may or may not come, the question of whether you are prepared, felt all of this through your poem. Great poetry.

I get the feeling of a double edged sword from this poem-- the dangerous siren disguised as love. Very deep! complex... makes a case to be cautious about love.
