The Words She Never Said
Missing Him in Silence, Loving Him in Pretend

She wants to tell him, whisper low,
That she missed him more than he could know.
But what’s the use in words once lost,
When love has faded, hearts have crossed?
So she smiles, pretends she’s fine,
Swallows the ache like bitter wine.
Keeps her longing locked inside,
Where silent memories still reside.
For some goodbyes aren’t loud or clear,
They linger soft, they disappear.
And so she buries what she feels,
Hiding wounds that time won’t heal.
