The woman in the big city.

The story.

By Jordan ZunigaPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Go about for whats in store,

Curious then, for something more,

A pitter, a patter, the sound of heavens disdain,

An umbrella in the city at the coming of the rain,

The smell of coffee arose at the passing of the light,

A thrill of roaring music as band was then in sight!

I took a seat around the constant idle chatter,

The bell of the door had opened as I turned upon the matter,

Her eyes bright green, her hair dark red, her smile lit upon the room,

My heart to light, a pleasing sight, such would love would then consume,

I remember it all too well, such a beauty and how we would meet,

The damsel of my delight, at the coffee bar on the city street!
