Not pleasing to the eye, but desired, all the more.

Deepest love.

By Jordan ZunigaPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Oh sweetest love of my delight,

Neither pleasing to the eye, nor at a glance of sight,

Yet the heart would yearn for what you bring,

For my voice to uplift, and sing!

Oh sweetest love of my delight,

Sheltered in the darkness of the night,

Your presence brings joy so the heart would sing,

Of you and the hope in the hearts of men, you bring!

Oh sweetest love of my delight,

Neither worried, nor anxious, nor calling in fright,

But you, oh dearest treasure of all the earth,

To know and love you, is the greatest gem of endless worth!
